I've been a customer for over 25 years. They provide first-class care for all of our hirsuite friends, fifty-fifty the bunnies. Dr. Thomazin performed surgery on our canis familiaris. He stayed tardily at the clinic until he was settled and provided us with regular updates. The support staff is kind and caring. Easy to get in and out, rarely have to look and no appointment necessary M-F during the daytime.

Efficient and make clean. Hours are very flexible for working people. They even taught me how to give my ailing true cat his injections. Non to sure about their boarding situation, in that location isn't a yard that I know of.

Animal Hospital of Newport Hills is the best in the surface area!

Every time I take taken my dogs to the Fauna Hospital of Newport Hills we (all of us) take been treated quickly and advisedly! The prices are very reasonable compared to other vet hospitals in the area. My animals receive the highest quality intendance and I have the liberty to walk in when it is user-friendly for me! I highly recommend this office for emergency visits as well as basic check-ups. What a friendly, efficient staff!

Stay away from vets Thomazin, Olsen and all of AHNH---rotten!

I brought 2 cats here for years...then the older cat was very sick...she was as well 18 years quondam. This nut Thomazin pulled his cash registrar trick:

Told me my cat was very underweight...how dare me accept a cat be underweight and 18 years old (?)

He said the cat needed emergency care to the tune of 200 dollars racked upward in half-dozen hours--- "complete blood work upwardly" , I-V feeding...and I should exit true cat for five-6 hours and rack upward a bigger beak.

Very upset, I came back as ordered and the serpent oil salesman Thomazin said the true cat can be saved...all I have to do is supply the daily I-V feeding ...

With great guilt I said I cant. I should have told him I myself had no wellness care, no heat in my shoebox apartment...no insurance...no anything other than 3 jobs.

AFTER racking up enormous debt on my credit card from this nut Thomazin... he said ok ...its probably best to euthanize the 18 year old true cat.

Thomazin did so while I held my cat. Thomazin hit a nerve and the cat, Riba, died screaming in desperation. Her face filled with agony...she screamed. They the henchwomen took the cat from me and I paid the enormous bill which took 3 years ...on my credit card...to pay off.

After trusting these idiots over and over through the years ...I brought in many foundling kittens and one foundling dog and one adult true cat for the consummate veterinary care ...the constant shots ( then foolish---dogs and cats dont really need the boosters year after year---its just to line the vet pockets---do you or your adult children get boosters every year? No of grade not )

Then stray dogs, 2 more, in the rural surface area where I now live homeless dogs and cats are everywhere...and so I've brought many
for neutering and constant shots...

Today I brought an AKC registered yellow lab I take owned for vii years. The owner gave him to me in 2000...because the canis familiaris was camped within my yard...the owner at that fourth dimension claimed the canis familiaris was 3 years old. And then a few years later I was told "oh No, Buehner was four when yous got him in 2000"

...then last yr in 2006 the this guy (aforementioned as above) who owned the domestic dog originally and named him Buehner told me "actually Buehner was 5 when you lot got him in 2000...nosotros didn't think you would have him if you knew he was five..."

I have fed my domestic dog actual food: PEDIGREE dry mixed with MEAT---chicken, beefiness, pork equally I take e'er fed dogs.

In pain the canis familiaris wakes up every 2 hours every dark... I fabricated an appointment on Monday June fourth 2007 to bring this 12 year erstwhile dog to the vet named Rosenkrantz on Wednesday, KNOWING I did not want Thomazin doing euthanasia...INSTEAD the worst one there OLSEN is in the room I am told to bring my dog...OLSEN walks in with me and my domestic dog on the floor. She does not identify herself...but I encounter her tag and I go out with my canis familiaris every bit she says to me oh your canis familiaris needs an apetite suppresant.

I am then told that Thomazin will practise the euthanazia on Friday... I come back on Friday.

I come dorsum on Friday Thomazin pushes the vegetarian nutrient products he sells also as the diet supressant he sells and laughs that baclofen and Ultram are not proper meds...Thomazin tells me all my dog needs is the same no good veterinary junk such as iams, eukanaba and science nutrition similar the interferon junk they also love to button...how is information technology that pedigree, friskies and purina were Non recalled for poisons??? well the vets dont rake in the cash for those foods... now exercise they?

READ most hip displaysia from bodily vets who are honest: less than 25% of dogs with hip dysplasia demand surgery. Vets don't quite make enough money from grooming, shots and accidents...so surgeries, chemotherapy and the most ridiculous of all: the removal of anal glands (?) is how Thomazin keeps his cash annals ching chinging.

Every time I accept saturday the HOURS in Thomazin's clinic the place is filled with rich pet owners bragging virtually all the anal gland removal, chemotherapy, the splenectomies (merely one splenectomy per dog of course) ...information technology goes on and on...THOMAZIN does all he tin can to continue every animal in stitches---literally.

Under new ownership - highly recommended!

I've been using AHNHs' services to treat my two ferrets for almost 2 yrs. & I've experienced both pros and cons in that location. Sometime in 2005 the clinic was bought past i of the veterinarians practicing there and alot has changed since then simply definitely for the improve, I believe.

Overall, I'chiliad very pleased with the service I receive, the cleanliness of the facility, and w/ the level of knowledge and empathetic "bedside fashion" from Dr. Thomazin (the new owner). Dr. "T" is VERY thorough and patient (I oftentimes ask ALOT of questions!) and has never, ever recommended unnecessary services for my ferrets! (Go on in heed that I see Dr. "T" exclusively b/c I feel he is the most qualified ferret doc there although the other vets might be too. Simply ane fourth dimension have I had to utilise another dr. at that place for an emergency situation with a ferret after hours, and it turned out fine. )

Other "pros" for me - the location is reasonably shut to my Eastside home and I similar the extended weekday night hours and weekend availability. Sometimes I like the 'walk in' option and other times I'd adopt to have the ability to make an appointment simply I merely take it as information technology is. For my specialized ferret care, I've found the prices to be closely comparable to other vets I use as 'dorsum ups' .

Very recently, one of my beloved ferrets passed away while in my arms at abode and Dr. T was so gracious and kind and patient and such a help through the grieving procedure once I arrived at his office. The staff was very kind, as well, and it all made such a difference with my experience!

CONS: Sometimes, I don't particularly intendance for the receptionist service (they've had some turnover for a while) nor exercise I similar the small, 'non-very-welcoming' waiting surface area but those are pocket-size things in comparison.

Overall, I highly recommend this office and the doctors there and if they could just keep the receptionist staff consistent!

PROS: Very knowledgeable vets, extended night hours & weekend availability
CONS: Poor receptionist service sometimes, small waiting area

Probably wouldn't recommend

I went here when I adopted a cat from a friend who was moving. The vet wanted to charge then much and when i told her i couldn't afford everything that needed to be done right away she was very perturbed. They do have advantage hither at a good rate if you buy in a larger quanity so i do get at that place for that.
